Today, we will be answering the question, “What is the process to get accepted into the Lily’s House program?”

“Lily’s House is a long-term drug recovery program. The program typically lasts for 12-18 months, but can be longer if needed. When a resident enters the program, they begin in phase one, which is strictly focused on the resident and her children. During phase one, residents do not have jobs or visitor privileges. As residents progress in the program, we gradually introduce visitors, outings, jobs, and schooling as requested.

When a woman is interested in the program, she fills out a paper application and sends it back to the Lily’s House director. The application then goes to the selection committee, where it is usually accepted or denied within 24-48 hours. If accepted, the resident is expected to be at Lily’s House within 24 hours.”

Criteria to enter the Lily’s House program:

  • A woman struggling with drug or alcohol addiction
  • Age 18 or older
  • Must be pregnant, have children, or be working to regain custody of children.
  • Children must be 8 years old or younger to reside at Lily’s House.
  • Lily’s House is a tobacco-free facility, so smoking will not be allowed.

If you or someone you know may be a candidate for the Lily’s House program, please contact Sara Vick at (417) 849-4156 to begin the application process.
